Perfect weather, awesome challenges and tremendous support helped make the 26th Annual Mercy Medical Charity Golf Tournament held September 27 at Rock Creek Golf Club in Fairhope hugely successful. Proceeds from the tournament benefit Mercy’s Guardian Angel program which provides home care to critically and terminally ill children of Baldwin and Mobile counties.
Mercy's tournament is one of the oldest and most popular charity golf events on the Eastern Shore. More than 100 patrons sponsored this year’s event, making it one of the best advocated golf events. “Great sponsorships affirms how vital Guardian Angel is to our community. The combination of a wonderful day of golf, great support and a phenomenal golf committee that went above and beyond it’s call to get everyone involved is a testament to the cause,” stated Russ Wood, co-chair of this year’s golf committee.
