Gathered at an early celebration of Mother’s day are residents, staff and friends of Carroll Place in Fairhope, Ala. Carroll Place, a Mercy Medical assisted living community, celebrated Mother’s day with residents, staff and special guests that included Mother Goose, Humpty Dumpty, Little Boy Blue, Little Miss Muffet and many other beloved characters. Residents and guests humorously told tales and captivated the room with fun-filled interpretations of a favorite nursery rhyme, while the dietary staff prepared refreshments fit for Mother Goose.

“What a creative and fun early Mother’s day and a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Memories came swirling back to many of our residents from their youth when asked to recite a favorite nursery rhyme. Several residents even played Ring around the Rosie; it was very entertaining,” explained Augusta Jones, Carroll Place administrative assistant.
