Mercy Medical's Annual Charity Golf Tournament will celebrate its 25th year during 2011 and we hope you will plan to join us! As one of this area's oldest and most popular charity golf tournaments, we invite you to help us help others by raising funds to support our neediest patients. During 2010 Mercy Medical funded over $1 million in unreimbursed charity care plus $350,000 in other community services to Mobile- Baldwin residents. Your generous sponsorship or donation to our 25th Charity Golf Tournament will help us help those who must depend on the charity of others to meet their healthcare needs.

This year's event again includes "flighted teams" which give all players a better chance of winning awards and excellent team prizes with golf and meals for the winning teams in both morning and afternoon shotgun starts. The individual player fee of $150 includes lunch, practice range balls, greens and cart fees, beverages on the course, post-tournament refreshments, and the opportunity to take home great prizes. During registration players can acquire mulligans and the opportunity for each team to select one hole (par 3 holes excluded) on which they will have the added benefit of hitting from the ladies' tee. Each player will also receive a great player gift and many other benefits. Tournament format is a four-person scramble.

Morning registration opens at 6:45 a.m. with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., followed by morning awards, lunch and merchant visits in the registration area. Registration for the afternoon shotgun begins at 11 a.m., with lunch and merchant visits before the 1 p.m. shotgun start. A brief awards ceremony with light refreshments after the afternoon rounds will conclude the day. We look forward to seeing you on the course and we thank you for your support of Mercy Medical.
