Brenda G. Anderson


Three Angels of the World are about 14" tall and wing span of 6-8" and are luminaries. Her studio is her 'playhouse' where she spends most of time. Her four granddaughters love it as much as her.

Brenda G. Anderson has a variety of interests. After her marriage to John W. Anderson, the couple raised three daughters, Monica Anderson Young and twin daughters, Ashley Anderson Larsen and Blair Anderson. The Andersons now have four granddaughters.

After 25 years as a Registered Nurse, Anderson is pursuing her creative and artistic side. She owns a pottery studio and business, Daughter of Clay Pottery, has dabbled in watercolor, pen and ink and sculpturing. She has added oils and acrylics to her list of mediums.

For the past year, Anderson and her husband have taken up motorcycling. While her husband rides an 1800 Honda Goldwing, Anderson rides a Honda 1100 Shadow Sabre. They have taken numerous road trips.

Anderson also is a correspondent with the Press-Register where she writes articles for the Mobile Neighbors section which is featured in Mobile County and for the Baldwin Register. She is an avid photographer, active in her church, Bromley Baptist Church and is a member of Eastern Shore Art Center and Bay Rivers Art Guild (BRAG). Anderson is co-founder of Artists by the Bay, www.bayartists.com. She co-chaired A Painter’s Paradise, a coffee table book featuring the Fairhope and the Eastern Shore and was co-chair of the Fine Arts Outdoor show for the Eastern Shore Art Center in 2007.

Anderson’s art has been exhibited and sold at several local businesses through BRAG and ESAC’s Outreach programs and at the Fairhope Street Artists studio.
